sankarshan EU Digital Identity Unconference coming up - IIW for Europe Matthieu Gaude - Northern Block - perhaps promote the harms paper more widely. Nicky Hickman to work with other ToIP groups to ensure that we make the most of moving forward with harms. sankarshan need to actually think about paper and understand first before leaping to implementation. So we are asking folks not to move fast and break things, but to go more carefully. Such pressure to ship product, rush to implement is artificial. Difficult problems to solve, but costly to get wrong. EG real-names on the internet, sounds like a good idea, but then they think it through. sankarshan this year = new use cases & consumer-grade products. Tipping point for adoption. Technical magic in the wallet is not enough, the key is in workflow and interactions. Andrew Slack glad to get this finalised. |
40 mins | Interaction Patterns | Andrew | Introduction to interaction pattern work so far: In our first session, Alta did a walk through of the wallet she's working on with different screens & different interactions occurring withing the application, good starting point. Helped us define what an 'interaction pattern was' and where the unique flows might differ from those we had worked with, e.g. using a different metaphor to describe conceptual models. Now have structure to the way we are thinking about flows, and doing the mapping exercise. Trying to break down categories of interactions.
All on this Miro Board: please feel free to add/edit sankarshan what are the key questions we're trying to answer? also following OWF asynchronously. Next call in 2 weeks, walk through scenarios. |
5 mins | AOB & Actions | Andrew | Todo: Andrew to update HXWG wiki to reflect new focus on Interaction TaskForce Todo: Andrew to review Magnificent 7 Todo: Nicky to copy over lifecycle Todo: all to add scenarios, goal of actors, relationships, lifecycle stage, type of interaction, consider agency / power, add to Miro. Enrich the board. walk through and starting point for next time. |
