IEEE Whitepaper on Blockchain Governance

Savita and Fredericde Vaulx will present the current IEEE Standard on Blockchain governance

Focus is on decentralized governance in four parts (People, Process, Practice, Policy and Incentives)

The model focuses on governance targets (Technology, Ecosystem, Lifecycle)

There are variety of governance subtargets where policies and rules should be applied.

First step in Governance is to build a governance design plan.

Standard going through IEEE QA process.

Notice and Consent Task Force

The Notice and Consent Task Force has moved under the GSWG.  Sal and Mark will discuss the task force, their work and future objectives.

Receipts have a long history that are a key component within governance.

Been working to create a controller credential to govern verifiable credentials.

Need governance to manage control of your private data.  Identifying who controls your data is key.

Transparency cannot happen before processing; after processing users do not have a choice on the transparency over the use of data.

The payload for consent receipt is now finalizing the initial standard issuance process.

ISO/IEC 27560 Consent Record Sharing was approved as a Ballot for a technical specification.
