@Drummond Reed will give a report on EIC and DICE and map the eIDAS 2.0 / European Digital Identity Wallets initiative into the ToIP 3rd generation model.

  • EIC (Ecosystem):

    • Gowing to 80% Decentralized ID

    • Very focused on eIDAS & Wallet

    • GEN part of large-scale project to map eIDAS ecosystem (of ecosystem) into ToIP 3rd generation model

    • So far very little attention being given to governance and just starting to appreciate the depth

    • Travel & Hospitality group is good use case

    • Payment

    • Organizational ID (GLEIF is involved)

  • DICE

    • How do they use the adoption of national ID for business purposes

    • 50/50 Business /  Tech

    • Large gov involvement

    • US DHS, Swiss eID, EU eIDAS all presented their own vision of national IDs

  • Identity Week, Amsterdam

    • Traditional hardware vendor

    • "unknowledgeable" about Decentralized ID

10 min

Any other business
