The group agreed that the charter for the GATF team should be updated to reflect the new work activities that the group should tackle.

Once agreed, this should then be advertised to attract a broader group membership and participation.

It was proposed that the current charter page be extracted to a Google Doc and then shared for collaborative editing/comments etc to create a draft that we believe can be the updated charter.

The new charter should reflect the history of the work that the group has performed as well as defining the new work that the group is taking on.

00:04:50 Drummond Reed: https://gan.foundation/
00:06:25 Neil Thomson: Local Firm - Northern Block - (provides the SSI platform for BC GOV - has announced they are a founding member

https://northernblock.io/blog/why-northern-block-is-joining-the-global-acceptance-network
00:07:51 Neil Thomson: The NBlock announcement talks extensively about ToIP including the Trust Registry Query Protocol and the Governance Framework Metamodel
00:08:13 Drummond Reed: Replying to "The NBlock announcem..."

Yes, it was fabulous in that respect.
00:12:48 Neil Thomson: Note that they mention Privacy-Preserving Communication and "value" Exchange under GAN Infrastructure
00:39:17 Neil Thomson: Machine Readable Governance - a configuration parameter file.

Anything more ambitious is likely too complex.
00:43:23 Neil Thomson: Also digital wallets.... (open wallet foundation)
00:47:37 Neil Thomson: An example of that is "loyalty networks/cards" that are cross jurisdictional.
00:49:43 John Phillips: Here's another example of a globally run ecosystem of ecosystems without direct government involvement: Eduroam, Australian explainer here:
https://www.eduroam.edu.au/

The internet is obviously another....
00:50:01 Drummond Reed: Replying to "Here's another examp..."

Very cool

00:53:22 Judith Fleenor: Replying to "Here's another examp..."
