Agenda Review 

Judith Fleenor   kicked off the meeting and presented to agenda and the anti trust policy.

Call to Order

Judith Fleenor called the meeting to order at approx. 12:00 and announced the meeting would be recorded and took the official minutes. There were no objections.

Judith Fleenor  reminded the Steering Committee of the Antitrust Policy.

We have been in discussion with DIF leadership about combining the two organizations. 
DIF’s Steering Committee voted last Thursday to move forward with discovering what it would take. 
We met with Jory Burson VP of Standards at LF last Friday, they would like to move forward to support the formation of a new combined organization.

ToIP/DIF Alignment  - Visionary- 

Start with the end in mind:  What would a Press Release to the greater world say on WHY the combined organization. 
Discover shared vision?
Discover specific goals for combined organization?
Align on strong messaging to the greater world. 
Target Announcement - OSS Europe September 19-21st - Bilbao, Spain

Consensus that this is a strong direction to move in and something we want to spend time on this summer! 
Set-up some teams to work on the Visionary and Tactical items that would need to be agreed upon between the two organization over the summer.  
NOTE: LF has offered the assistance of their new project formation team to work on the tactical elements.   There will be weekly meetings
