Meeting Date

  • Oct 3, 2023 The TSWG holds plenary meetings once every four weeks on Tuesdays. The remaining 2023 meeting dates are Oct 31 and Nov 28.

  • Two meetings are held each Tuesday to accommodate global time zones:

    • NA/EU Meeting: 08:00-09:00 PT / 16:00-17:00 UTC

    • APAC Meeting: 18:00-19:00 PT / 02:00-03:00 UTC

 @Drummond Reed to send an email to the TSWG mailing list notifying all TSWG members of a 7 day review period for the proposed DID WebS Method Task Force, followed by a 7-day email vote seeing if there are any objections.
did:webs Task Force leads to contact @Michelle Janata to add their Friday meeting onto ToIP calendar once the Task Force is officially approved.
ACTION: REMINDER to ALL TSWG MEMBERS: If anyone wishes to declare any patent claim exclusions on work contributed to existing TSWG deliverables, you must do so by submitting the exclusion as required in the Call for Exclusions before midnight Pacific Time on 25 October 2023.
ALL TSWG MEMBERS — please review and comment on the Example Use Cases for the ToIP Stack as soon as you can.

  • Drummond reported that the Working Draft is proceeding nicely, with the first two sections (Introduction and Verifiable Idenitifiers) being done (pending outstanding issues) and the third section on Messages being in process.

  • We are looking forward to presentations and discussions of the Trust Spanning Protocol at IIW next week.

Update on the ToIP Glossary Workspace

Drummond and @Nicky Hickman have volunteered to complete a fully structured and cross-linked ToIP Glossary before Internet Identity Workshop begins on 10 October. They are about 70% done. See this Google doc for the current version
