Notes
1. Welcome and Linux Foundation antitrust policy
2. Review of New Background Section
- Made edits directly in google doc file
3. Review of Outstanding Comments
- Made edits directly in google doc file
- Identity binding section streamlined
- Continued emphasis on wanting an integrated system approach - verification etc. done off site / away from airport
- Comment shared with security team:
- In more broad and general sense, I wanted to share the fact that airlines are currently sharing passengers information to third parties mainly for two reasons: Contractual obligation (defined in GDPR Art(6)1,1(b) if I understand correctly...) and legal obligation (GDPR Art(6)1,1(c) ). The former example is interline partners and ground handlers. The latter is immigration authorities.(The through checkin scenario belongs to the first example) The current passenger handling procedure, in other words user experience, is established in way that this is possible in certain conditions. If GHP can only be shared from holder (passenger) to verifier, dedicated information path would need to be added to the current path in some use cases. This might impact on the UX and could involve modification of airlines system.
- Streamlined user journeys to health pass (added detailed user journeys to annex)
4. Wrap up
- Next steps
