Spec-Up-T, The Diff tool in the example in the main ToIP gloss, didn't work. So we'd like to demonstrate AAL today.
@Kor Dwarshuis : we have to write a custom Diff because github can't serve us appropriately

Spec-Up-T

@Henk van Cann

The old-ToIP glossary to the new-ToIP Glossary redirect issue discussed above (it would be good to close it ASAP). Discuss giving the ToIP Glossary (current link = https://trustoverip.github.io/ctwg-main-glossary/ ) a simpler link (proposal = https://trustoverip.github.io/glossary/ ).Answer: CNAME configuration is possible, see more at chatGPT

Discuss the status of the permalink proposal.
The SpecUp versioning creates copies; not desirable. The latest version of the term is the permalink. With an Xref the commithash of the time of referencing is available. There should be a checkbox available what you'd like to see: latest or commit# at the time of reference.

Do we have a standard procedure for:

Discussion: what's the realistic time frame for this:

@Carly : It would be cool if we could give each term a SAID. Perform a hash of the definition sentences, and then it could also be referenced by its SAID (and verified).
To get a SAID you need: Canonicalization, Serialization, SAID calculation
Long discussion; @Kent Bull offered to write a blog post with a step-by-step, @Carly offered to test.

Term Version management and Diff tooling.

@Kor Dwarshuis

@Henk van Cann

How to recover from source deletion?
Answer: we keep a local copy of Xref'ed term definitions just in case the sources we don't control are deleted.
Sources we do control: never delete a term definition, just revoke the definition and forward to new terms that cover the concept.

Main ToIP Glossary

@Rieks Joosten @Henk van Cann

How to cope with multiple / singular versions of terms, with/without dashes. etc TEv2 tooling?
Rieks has put a proposal in Slack July 1 CTWG chat. Already added in draft to Terminology Governance Guide. We will discuss this.
