ACTION: @Henk van Cann 1 assignment for a CTO to support Kor, whose quick-scan we liked the most. This person will be able to assist with back-end coding.

Henk hired a new person called Chris Hemingway to work on the Spec-Up-T code base. He’s installed a testing environment called Sonar Cube. It can raise issues separately from GitHub issues.

Update on progress on Spec-Up-T

@Henk van Cann

@Kor Dwarshuis

Henk’s goal is for his team (Kor and Chris) to achieve a stable version of Spec-Up-T in roughly six months.

In the meantime, they will continue to work on adding features.

One issue they are addressing is circular references.

Screenshot #1 shows the table they are maintaining at the top of each glossary showing cross-references to the others (both production and test versions).

Screenshot #2 shows trefs (transclusion references) that copy a term definition into the local document.

Screenshot #3 shows a new feature that can show only local defs or only xrefs or both.

In addition there is an issue to avoid circular references.

A summary of all the open issues for Spec-Up-T is here: https://hackmd.io/7VD5Y_E-Qc-3SZ3eCRV20g#Mermaid-diagrams-public

Harmonization of the ToIP Main Glossary and the KERI SSI Glossary

@Henk van Cann

@Drummond Reed

Henk explained that there are currently 4 KERI-related glossaries:

  1. The ToIP General IT Glossary.

  2. The ToIP Main Glossary.

  3. The KERI Glossary.

  4. The GLEIF vLEI Glossary.

Updating of terms & definitions in the ToIP Main Glossary

@Drummond Reed

@Carly Huitema

See the current ToIP Glossary.

The task we discussed was when to split out the ToIP General IT Glossary terms from the existing ToIP Glossary.

Additional candidate documents needing Spec-Up-T features

All

@Neil Thomson explained that the Travel & Hospitality group at DIF could use glossary features, but they are working in Word. So Neil wondered if they could create an appendix of glossary terms that can then be output as a PDF.

Henk said that Spec-Up-T files will work fully offline, but xrefs will not work because they need access to the source glossary.
