This page documents inputs to the BGC work and is led by Maha Sroor from University of Jyväskylä, the tool was described in this meeting of the Ecosystem Foundry Working Group. The tool is also described in this presentation.
Governance Layer
Describe the roles for each actor, then the rights, responsibilities, incentives and risks associated with that role
- Youth Participant - An Individual human subscribing to the Yoma Platform
- Custodian - An Organisation that stores and manages the digital wallet, but does not act on behalf of the individual, only on their instruction
- Guardian - An Individual or Organisation that is required by law to act on behalf of Youth Participants, or make decisions together with Youth Participants. .
- Opportunity Provider - An Organisation or Individual providing Education, Employment or Impact Opportunities to the Yoma marketplace
- Technology Provider - An Organisation providing hardware or software technology services that form part of the Yoma Infrastructure
- Incentive Provider - An Organisation or Individual providing economic value in the form of money, services or digital assets which can be exchanged with other Entities in the Yoma Ecosystem
- Marketplace Participant - An Organisation or Individual providing goods or services which can be exchanged for Incentives within the Yoma ecosystem.
- Yoma Ecosystem Infrastructure - the set of Things including hardware and software components that are used by other Entities in the ecosystem to interact, the Yoma Ecosystem Governance Authority, the Yoma Member Directory, and the Yoma Governance Framework.
- Yoma Infrastructure Operator - An Organisation that builds, administers and operates the Yoma Infrastructure
- Yoma Ecosystem Governance Authority - The Organisation that maintains and enforces the Ecosystem Governance Framework
- Local Yoma Ecosystem - An Organisation that makes use of Yoma Ecosystem Infrastructure and which has localised features to its Governance Framework
- Yoma Verified Registry - The publicly available and verifiable list of Issuer and Verifier Organisations.
Youth Participant = USER
Role = Credential Holder
Rights as a Credential Holder
- The user has the right to revoke his VCS
- The User has the right to appoint a Guardian = legally must act on behalf of the individual
- The User has the right to appoint a Custodian = An organisation that technically controls the wallet (Currently all are Custodians, part of user T's and C's)
- The user has the right to revoke Guardianship and Custodian Credentials
Responsibilities as a Credential Holder
- Responsible for completing challenges
- Completing self-asserted information in their Digital CV
- Responsible for updating self-asserted information that changes on the CV
- Checking the completeness and accuracy of verified credentials that are issued when they complete challenges, e.g. if the information is incorrect

- Unable to recover digital wallet
- Losing digital wallet
- inability to access the system (computer breakdown or losing the phone

- The basic check rules explaining what the rules are and giving context to rule check texts.
For each Yoma model separately:
- Word documents, includes the diagrams and hyperlinks between design elements as well as all object descriptions.
- HTML files for web browsers, includes the diagrams as PNG pictures, documentation and properties of design elements, and hyperlinks between them.
- Metrics
- PNGs
- Rule check texts (stating what is missing)
The collective Word document should contain everything that you need but we can also generate more specific reports (explained here). Let us know if you want to have some particular report instead of collecting the information from the Word documentation.
