Meeting Date

  • The TSWG holds plenary meetings once every four weeks on Wednesdays. The remaining 2023 meeting date is Nov 28 (there will be no plenary meeting in December due to the holidays).
  • Two meetings are held each Wednesday to accommodate global time zones:
    • NA/EU Meeting: 08:00-09:00 PT / 15:00-16:00 UTC
    • APAC Meeting: 18:00-19:00 PT / 01:00-02:00 UTC

The 60 day Call for Exclusions period under the TSWG's previous IPR terms has ended. Due to the Linux Foundation Member Summit last week, the chairs need to circle with Judith to determine the formal logistics for closing the existing TSWG and opening the new one.

ACTION: TSWG Co-Chairs Drummond Reed, Darrell O'Donnell, & Kevin Griffin to work with ToIP ED Judith Fleenor to manage the formal logistics for closing the existing TSWG and opening the new instance under the new IPR terms.

Q&A:

Tim Bouma "Sold!" He thought this was really great work and would help very much with adoption.

Darrell O'Donnell asked what the penetration of DNSSEC is today. Jesse said that, he wasn't sure, but it thought it was on the order of 20%, and that larger DNS providers/registrars were providing working on initiatives to provide it automatically now.
