We had a long discussion about issue 43, XHOPs. That led into a discussion about protocol efficiency. Sam shared that, because CESR can transmit all serialization formats in binary, it can simplify the choice of protocols.

Sam talked further about core affinity and CESR's efficiency.

Sam also discussed his proposal for putting metadata only in the payload, and payloads can contain payloads in a full nested design.

We covered again the proposal that the addresses are either DIDs or URNs (in open mode) — or any string (in closed mode, where the parties have agreed on the strings to use as addresses).
