CAWG Trust Registry assistance

  • cross-org (ToIP + DIF)

  • multiple registries in the C2PA and CAWG side

    • e.g. known manifest stripping/separation issue could be mitigated using registries

  • multiple authorititative issuers

    • focus is on the wiring/technical linkage of CAWG to require Trust Registries

    • TR in every “grouped assertions” identity, consent, and metadata - anchor those to TRs.

    • Right to do the thing

    • Right to make x claim

    • Double-test - e.g. Mozilla may be Identity TR, but

  • ASK - join CAWG meetings. @Scott Perry can help coordinate.

  • @Drummond Reed to add DIF calendar link.

Presented on Dynamic Identifiers

SMITH tree - every change, changes the tree (so SAID, by definition, changes)

IDEA: Dynamic Autonomic Identifier → the DAID becomes the anchor, and is aware of the churn/cascade behind it.

Separation of the single-ecosystem

know where it comes from (system of record/TR) - and the state (DAID → SAID(s))

Governed AID (GAID) concept “self-verifying identifier”

A governance commitment can be incepted from a special SCID.
