  • Antitrust Policy Notice: Attendees are reminded to adhere to the meeting agenda and not participate in activities prohibited under antitrust and competition laws. Only members of ToIP who have signed the necessary agreements are permitted to participate in this activity beyond an observer role.

  • In addition to the licensing terms of this Working Group’s JDF charter, this Working Group operates under the official policy that any Working Group Participant who makes a contribution to a Draft Deliverable shall have a maximum of 45 days from the date of that contribution to exclude any Essential Claims pertaining to that contribution.

GOAL: Get Public Review 02 in play by mid-October (was end-September). General idea is to get the spec out and let it sit for a while as there are many implementors moving.

Currently, it is very unclear where an assertion should be pulled from, for both recognition and authorization requests. Therefore, I strongly propose we add claim_id as a field in the request and response format, that is a URI that points to some type of resource containing the assertion from authority_id to entity_id .

  • TRQP is simplifying things for the Verifier - they just want an answer (if they want the “why?” or “how did you get to that answer?” they need to take a different path).

  • Ecosystems need to provide enough information for Verifiers to know:

    • what authorizations are active in the ecosystem?

    • what assertion_id values
