OPEN DISCUSSIONS

All

All August meetings will be ‘no agenda’ open discussions.

  • @Neil Thomson http://www.dataiera.com Did a presentation to the DIF Hosp/Travel SIG today (recorded, slides) on A2A agent platform for commerce - focus: travel. Will get link to presentation and slides in the next couple of days

  • News of Delta’s supposed “individualized” pricing and what impact it may have on data sharing.

  • Related debate: structured vs un-structured data. Is structured data still needed? “Chatgpt says yes”. LLMs still error-prone unreliable.

  • Long-term identifier vs session based/or time based tokens

  • Issues related to abusing of authorizations (like Oauth’s time based scheme) and intent. Some options: (1) a blockchain-based executable contract, (2) logging with signatures, that can later go back for accountability, like TSP messages, (3) a central control system.
