1. Welcome and Linux Foundation antitrust policy

Introductions [ALL] - Welcome to Elizibeth who is expert in Forensic_linguistics

[Drummond] Overview of the project and how the governance framework became one of the working groups.

We are still waiting for the other groups to provide their input

We now thinking that the 30 - 90- 180 day goals apply to the Governance Framework

Discussion about the term attestation 

  • [Scott] This needs to be supported by evidence. An assertion that holds the attester accountable - A set of claims about a subject that can be verified by an issuer.

  • [Elisabeth] This can also imply that there is a legal binding statement. There is also the implication that attestation is spoken and a cert is written. 

  • [Savita] This came from the rules engine group, there  might be some overlap with paper creds

  •  

    • Rules engine was looking at ingesting attestations Drummond to make note on self attestations made by the holder to the verifier. - Skipping over the issuer



Major part of our focus is on the tools for interoperability. The glossary is one of our key components.

  3. We will aim for the end of this week for the GF document. Target by the end of Thursday's meeting as a wrap up call and publish soon after.

We need a very short GF Recommendation document This will include our 30 - 90 -180
