Notes
1. Welcome and Linux Foundation antitrust policy
2. QR Codes & URLs
- Decision that QR code will not support URL (concerns over phone home)
- If you want to secure data, you can (we are not going to say you can’t) but we’re not going to support a URL that points to the data online; could add this as a “may” but can’t require it
- At end of day, let’s not try to solve an unsolvable problem with paper now - hopefully by the time zero knowledge proofs stabilize, people will have gotten off paper
3. Draft Discussion
- Recommendations on serialization of data will be useful
- Get JSON payloads (two letter codes for everything)
- W3C vocabulary - MATTR seems open to harmonizing things?
- MATTR should look at what is being pulled together and should give feedback on
- Include data chairs and Kaliya in outreach to MATTR
- EU is doing a validation of the URI
- Passes are not long term
- Paper credentials cannot be bound to an electronic device
- Don't want to build a hardcoded business model into implementation - we don’t want to get into that business; allow someone to verify an implementation
Action Items
- David to reconcile section 1 and section 6
- Vitor to add one-way and two-way credentials to glossary
- Change bullets to numbers
