A “bridged approach” to VIDs will provide lay the foundation for High Assurance (HA) Trust over IP (ToIP) Profiles that are remain agnostic to the underling VID used, enabling decision underlying VID. This approach allows decision-makers to select choose the best most suitable VID for a specific context contexts and purpose, purposes without forgoing foregoing interoperability with other between VID systems.
